Classroom Presentations

  • Is your class learning about recycling?
  • Group hosting a meeting?
  • Scout troop working on an environmental badge?

The Geauga-Trumbull Solid Waste Management District offers a variety of educational educational programs covering topics such as recycling, natural resources, litter prevention, and landfills.

Our goal is to help students understand the connections between our earth’s natural resources, the products we use and buy, and how to properly dispose of them. This knowledge will help the students to learn ways to have a positive impact on our schools, community, and natural environment.

Based on the audience for the presentation, a District Staff member or a an educator from the local Soil & Water Conservation District will give the presentation.

Beginning in October 2022, the District partnered with the Soil & Water Conservation Districts from Geauga & Trumbull Counties to offer presentations for students and children.
