The Trumbull Collection Facility is not able to accept flammable Household Hazardous Waste (i.e. gasoline, chemicals, etc.) in the winter. However, we are open all winter long for electronics (TVs, computers, etc.), appliances, foam, and a limited list of Household Hazardous Waste (i.e. batteries, fluorescent light bulbs, propane tanks, etc.)

Trumbull County residents are welcome to take their flammable Household Hazardous Waste to the Geauga Collection Facility during winter months.

Did you know – we don’t accept plastic chairs, yogurt cups, or strawberry containers? 

Don’t look at the numbers on the materials. Look at the shape to determine if we can accept it.

Putting unacceptable items in our bins can increase our costs and potentially close recycling sites. What we can accept in our drop-off site recycling bins can change with recycling markets and as technology improves. Always check the labels on the bins before recycling. Visit the Recycle Right webpage for more information.
