How do the Collection Centers work?

Our collection facilities are open to Geauga and Trumbull County residents only for disposal of appliances, electronics, household hazardous waste, and foam. They are DRIVE-THRU facilities where residents pull into/next to the facility and our staff unloads the vehicle.

Residents DO NOT need to get out of the vehicle to assist unloading. Our staff will unload everything we accept, regardless of size.

When dropping off please remember:

GEAUGA & TRUMBULL COUNTY RESIDENTS ONLY
All RESIDENTS MUST REMAIN IN VEHICLE AT ALL TIMES
NO SMOKING
PETS ARE WELCOME BUT KEEP ANY ANIMALS RESTRAINED IN THE VEHICLE AT ALL TIMES
NO DRUMS, ONLY 5 GALLON CONTAINERS OR SMALLER
TRAILER LOADS NOT ACCEPTED!
3 TELEVISIONS/DAY LIMIT
NO BUSINESS WASTE WILL BE ACCEPTED
NO ACETYLENE TANKS OR UNKNOWN TANKS ACCEPTED
NO LATEX PAINT (How to dispose of latex paint properly)
NO MEDICAL WASTE

Open Tuesdays & Wednesdays

Hours: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Tuesdays: Accepting Electronics, Appliances, and Foam ONLY

Wednesdays: Accepting HHW, Electronics, Appliances, and Foam

Geauga Collection Facility:

Open Thursdays & Fridays
Hours: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Thursdays: Accepting Electronics, Appliances, and Foam ONLY

Fridays: Accepting HHW, Electronics, Appliances, and Foam

Household Hazardous Waste (HHW)

Trumbull Collection Facility: Wednesdays 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Geauga Collection Facility: Fridays 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
